Born and raised in America, Kali Baaba holds an honorary doctorate in esoteric metaphysics from the University of Metaphysics in Los Angeles.
Although he is of African descent Kali Baaba is a Hindu Sadhu who worships the Godess Mother Kali as well as a member of many tribes from his many travels, Baaba is a tribal elder and has lived amongst the indigenous Aborigine people, been a part of their rituals, shared their customs. He has studied in Africa, Australia, China, Europe, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
